Meghan Markle and Prince Harry feud with royals ‘intervened by Sarah Ferguson’

Sarah Ferguson and her daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice have collectively been trying to end the royal feud, according to an expert.

Sarah Ferguson has attempted to intervene in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ongoing feud with senior members of the Royal Family, it has been claimed.

Royal expert Tom Quinn has claimed the Duchess of York has been trying hard to reduce and partially eradicate tensions between the two sides.

Mr Quinn said not only was Sarah trying to help end the feud, but so too were her daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.

He added that Prince Andrew’s former wife had “learned the hard way” that it was impossible to win a fight against the Royal Family.

Mr Quinn’s comments come as Prince Harry didn’t attend the Duke of Westminster’s wedding to Olivia Henson, which was attended by his brother Prince William.

Mr Quinn told The Mirror: “Sarah and her daughters Beatrice and Eugenie have tried to intervene in the feud between William and King Charles and Harry and Meghan.”

“They’ve tried to calm the situation and persuade Harry that he’s had his say and he doesn’t need to stir things up any further, but Harry was never likely to pay much attention largely because his feud with the Royal Family has become a key part of what makes him tick.”

In recent weeks, Sarah Ferguson has made several public appearances, including at the recent Cannes Film Festival in France. Furthermore, earlier this year she told PEOPLE magazine that a key part of maintaining family relationships was “forgiveness”.

She explained: “I think family unity is key… I think the key to life is that we all support each other. And also forgiveness is a great thing. I think forgiveness of yourself and forgiveness of others.”

It was Sarah’s reference to forgiveness, which Mr Quinn claimed was a “clear reference” to Harry and Meghan’s current relationship with senior members of the Royal Family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship with the likes of King Charles, Queen Camilla, and Prince William since the publication of Prince Harry’s memoir last year and appearances on Netflix has plummeted.

Furthermore, Prince Harry is also rumoured to be upset about the lack of a relationship between his children, Prince Archie Harrison and Princess Lilibet Diana, with their cousins living in the UK.

Mr Quinn commented: “We know that Harry’s deepest upset concerns not just his lack of relationship with George, Charlotte and Louis, but also his own children’s lack of a relationship with their cousins.

“Harry and Meghan would love to get round the problem – they would love it if the cousins could meet regularly and have a positive relationship as they grow up, but they cannot see a way to do it while they themselves, Harry and Meghan, are estranged. Harry has said that he hopes the cousins can at least be friends as adults.”
