Fans Notice Katy Perry’s Fiancé, Orlando Bloom, 47, Looks ‘Aged’ during Their Outing in Comfy Outfits

Hollywood couple Katy Perry, 39, and Orlando Bloom, 47, were spotted arriving at Ellen DeGeneres’s comedy show, “An Evening with Ellen DeGeneres,” in West Hollywood on June 6. Their casual appearance caused a commotion among social media users who were taken aback for a few reasons, primarily as it pertains to “The Lord of the Rings” star.

Video and photographic media shared by various news outlets showed the “Dark Horse” singer getting out of a sleek black SUV as she arrived for the comedy event. For the affair, Katy opted for a spunky casual look, wearing a gray leotard shirt that was tucked into her jungle green pants.

She paired her ensemble with a bright orange cap, platform shoes, a silver chain, and silver earrings and carried a chrome-colored jacket and a beige purse. Her thinly strapped top also left a bit of her red bra exposed.

Katy’s beau, on the other hand, rocked a grey UNICEF hoodie and olive-colored khaki pants. He completed his attire with a black cap and sneakers. Footage of the duo showed them arriving in separate cars right before Orlando strolled up to Katy’s vehicle to greet her.

After someone from the artist’s team opened the car door for her, Katy could be heard greeting the paparazzi with a cheerful, “hello” before she spotted her fiancé and called for him with a “baby.”

The couple then shared a sweet, quick kiss before he turned around in the direction of the cameras and Katy stepped out of the SUV after grabbing her belongings. She smiled at the cameramen, showing off her pearly whites before proceeding to enter the venue.

Much later, presumably after the show had ended, Katy and Orlando were seen exiting the venue. As they stepped back outside, they were immediately bombarded with dozens of fans and camera flashes. The couple then leaft together in a black car.

Katy and Orlando’s outing sparked a flood of mixed commentary on social media platforms. Some people asserted their opinions on how they looked, complimenting the musician while marveling at how old Orlando appeared.

“She looks great! Orlando has aged bless him,” wrote an Instagram user. Expressing a similar sentiment concerning Orlando, another echoed, “I was like who’s that old man next to Katy Perry, oh yes that’s Orlando Bloom 😬.”

“She looks beautiful. And [then] there is Orlando Bloom…” noted another observer. On the other hand, someone else criticized both of their outfits, “Why are they dressed like 14yr olds at the skate park[?]”

However, amid the backlash Orlando received, there was a fan who gave him props, gushing, “Her husband is sooo cute!❤️” Another cohort of social media users were confused to see Katy and Orlando together, as they thought the couple had called it quits.

“I thought they broke up,” commented someone who saw the YouTube video of the pair. Similarly, another pondered, “they are a couple?” In response to this comment, someone replied, “Yeah they’ve been together forever.”

For those who are wondering, yes, Katy and Orlando are still an item and have been going strong since their romantic relationship started. Just two months ago (April), Orlando raved about why he loved his fiancée while sitting down with iconic host and comedian Trevor Noah on his podcast.

Orlando spoke about how, as opposed to falling for Katy’s star power, he fell in love with the down-to-earth woman behind the superstardom. “I fell in love with, this, with Katheryn, this girl from Santa Barbara, you know, and by the way, parents—pastors, living on food stamps—we’re not talking glamorous Montecito,” explained the famous actor.

He then went on to divulge, “We both meet each other with understanding where we came from […] what we had to do to get to where we got to. And she definitely demands that I evolve, right? And I feel I do the same for her, and that makes for fireworks, pardon the pun, but it also makes for a lot of fun and a lot of growth.”

The loving partner added that even amid the challenges the two may face, usually as a result of their busy careers, he wouldn’t change their relationship for anything. Orlando adores Katy, and the feeling is mutual.

In 2022, she was asked about a previous candid moment during “American Idol” when she was caught ogling at her dashing beau’s pictures featured in People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive photoshoot.

Of how the little girl—who, like her mom, was also dressed as Cinderella—reacted to seeing Katy as the beloved princess, the singer shared, “She loved it! She was upset to leave just now because she wants Cindy to come home.”

Aside from celebrating Mother’s Day as Cinderella on the show, Katy also marked the monumental occasion with an endearing Instagram post. She shared a carousel of images showing heartwarming memories from when she first found out she was pregnant with Daisy.

The carousel included photos of her positive pregnancy test and a picture of her FaceTiming with Orlando Bloom to share the exciting news with him. Katy Perry told him the news via Facetime because he was filming in Prague.

There was also a video of her telling fellow “American Idol” judges, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, that she was pregnant and footage of a doctor’s ultrasound check-up where she heard her daughter’s heartbeat for the first time.
