Tori Spelling Moves Out of $15K-a-Month Home Neighbors Claim She ‘Trashed’ — A Rare Glimpse Inside

Tori Spelling and her five kids Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, seven, have left their $15,000-per-month rental home, which they took residence at the beginning of the year.

The “Beverly Hills 90210” actress moved out of the modern 3,000 square-foot two-story home, after living in it for seven months. The remodeled rental home, which has five bedrooms, three baths, a pool, and a spa, came fully furnished when Spelling and her kids moved in.

When Spelling moved in, she paid a $7,500 security deposit, which could also have been a fee for her short-term rental. She then settled into the lovely home.

The house has a grand entryway featuring a large staircase adorned with a luxurious chandelier and hardwood floors extending throughout the space.

The real estate listing also describes the home as an entertainer’s paradise, featuring a kitchen equipped with two ovens, double sinks, ample counter space, and seating for 16.

The house offers abundant room for large families and groups to unwind and spread out comfortably. Additionally, it includes a garage, central air conditioning, and all essential appliances.

Fortunately for Tori Spelling, the property permitted both cats and dogs. However, there was no indication that her extensive collection of pets from Hidden Hills was allowed.

Now, Spelling, who is known for being a residential wanderlust with an obsession with moving, has left this residence. She has also been accused of leaving the residence in disarray, causing outrage among her neighbors.

Photos in front of the house reveal heaps of discarded furniture, cushions, and other household items scattered across the otherwise well-maintained residential street.

Some of the furnishings, like a taupe sectional sofa featured in real estate photos of the property, are now ripped and soiled, left on the street for waste management pickup. Additionally, there are pet carriers, a random DVD, children’s toys, and more.

According to neighborhood sources, the scenes inside the home are similarly dismal. Moreover, a big dumpster that was used to collect garbage has been refilled multiple times since Spelling moved out.

One neighbor said they were sure Spelling would not be getting her deposit back as the house was “completely trashed.” “The smell of urine is everywhere, on the couch cushions and inside the home. There are marks all over the walls, from who knows what,” added the neighbor.

Spelling’s alleged unkempt situation was an issue in her marriage to her estranged husband Dean McDermott. The two had been married since 2006 but by 2017, financial woes, McDermott’s drinking problems, and Spelling’s pets kept drawing them apart.

The actor mentioned that the problems were related to animals as they were sleeping in the bedroom, often on the bed. There was a pig, a chicken living in the bathroom, and several dogs.

McDermott noted that dogs are prone to accidents, and their dogs had many. He found it increasingly difficult to manage and so, moved to another bedroom such that he and his wife were sleeping in different rooms.

McDermott explained, “I drew that boundary for myself and moved to another room and things just progressed from there. There were no efforts to sort of remedy the problem to get back into the room.”

As a result, the exes gradually became emotionally distant, resembling roommates rather than partners by the time their marriage fell apart. The actor spent more time alone, leading to increased drinking, while Spelling focused her attention on the children.

Both retreated into their own worlds, he with his drinking and she with the kids. The two seldom ate meals together, and when they did, the experience was often fragmented and disconnected.

Eventually, after a 10-month separation and 18 years of marriage, Spelling filed for divorce. She listed the date of separation as June 17, 2023. After news of their breakup broke, Dean McDermott said he and Spelling were doing good but that their divorce was a long time coming.

Spelling also revealed that she told McDermott she was divorcing him while midway through recording her podcast “misSPELLING.” During her podcast, the actress spoke directly to McDermott over the phone, informing fans about her decision to file for divorce.

She emphasized that the filing was merely a formality. Spelling expressed annoyance over McDermott’s public discussion of their divorce. Interestingly, she concluded the call with an unexpected “Love you.”

The actress also revealed, “We always say, ‘Hey, it made it 18 years.’ It shouldn’t have made it 18 years,” and admitted that she stayed in the union to protect McDermott and the kids.

The exes first met on the set of the TV movie “Mind Over Murder” in 2005. Their attraction was strong despite both being married at the time. Spelling described their relationship as a whirlwind romance, falling deeply in love very quickly.

They married in May 2006 and welcomed their son Liam in 2007. Their family expanded as they had four more kids. Spelling reflected on how their dynamic changed after having children, remarking that their relationship was never quite the same.

They ventured into reality TV, starting with “Tori & Dean: Inn Love” in 2007, where they operated a bed and breakfast. Spelling also discussed the challenges of balancing family life and career, transitioning from a Hollywood persona to a more grounded family-oriented figure.

Despite their public image, their relationship was unraveling behind the scenes. They attempted therapy but were unable to salvage their marriage. McDermott struggled with alcohol and prescription medication, which exacerbated their marital problems.

His battles with alcoholism eventually contributed to the breakdown of their relationship. The 57-year-old later became an advocate and counselor for addiction. Ultimately, their journey together, from a passionate beginning to the challenges of fame and family, ended in separation.

Weeks after McDermott announced on Instagram, in a now-deleted post, that he and Spelling were getting a divorce, the actress was spotted leaving a $100-a-night motel with her five kids.

Leaving the modest accommodation presented a stark juxtaposition to Spelling’s upbringing in one of Los Angeles’ most opulent mansions, known as The Manor, situated in the prestigious Holmby Park neighborhood.

Spelling looked visibly disheartened as she stood outside the roadside hotel, with her kids by her side. The actress’s tough living conditions in July 2023 came after she revealed that they had to leave the family home due to a mold problem.

The mom of five revealed in a post on Instagram that the mold had left her family in a “continual spiral of sickness for months.” Initially, she attributed the constant illness to having young kids in school who often bring home sicknesses.

However, the situation became concerning when their youngest children, were frequently too sick to attend school, experiencing symptoms like dizziness and excessive sleeping. This prompted them to investigate further, leading to a mold inspection of their home.

So, Spelling ended up in a motel because she was urgently seeking temporary accommodation before she could find a permanent solution.

Unfortunately, after leaving the motel, the 51-year-old and her kids ended up living in an RV in California with her children. Having resorted to mobile living, Spelling was spotted at a campground in Ventura County in a Sunseeker E450 RV enjoying an early cup of coffee.

She was seen behind the wheels of the RV driving to the campground where she and the kids were residing. Spelling was later spotted drying clothes outside their RV before preparing dinner.

Later, she drove to a local Walmart in the RV to stock up on supplies, accompanied by her daughter Stella. They were seen pushing a grocery cart filled with plastic bags.

Sunseeker RVs typically include a living room dinette that can convert into extra sleeping space. The sofas in these models can also be transformed into beds, which will undoubtedly be useful for Spelling’s children.

In larger versions, there’s a kids’ sofa sleeper that converts into a bunk bed. The Sunseeker E450 RV is equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room.

It is after living in an RV that Spelling and her children moved into the $15,000-per-month rental home that they have now moved out from, leaving it trashed. The condition of Spelling’s rental house has stirred significant concern among the public, particularly regarding the well-being of her children.

Fans have voiced their worries on social media, reflecting on the potential impact of the living conditions on the kids’ health and stability.

One concerned user remarked, “She needs to start taking better care of her children’s diets. I guarantee she hasn’t cooked them a homemade meal in years, if ever.”

The user speculated that Spelling feeds her kids junk food for all their three daily meals. “It’s not even their fault, and I doubt they exercise. They’re all going to have a very rough life with lots of medical problems to boot,” added the user.

Another user expressed sympathy for the children’s lack of stability, saying “I’m pretty sure her children are not well-mannered or having any civility to them. I don’t blame them. I’m sure it has been terrible for them the last few (years) bouncing from place to place.”

The user noted that it was sad that the kids might not know where they will sleep or what they will eat, adding that it would be interesting to see where Spelling lives next. “Her ex needs to step in and try to get some help for his children. They need stability,” the user pleaded.

The sentiment that both parents should be involved in providing a stable environment was echoed by another commenter, “What is wrong with her?? This is SO bad for those kids. They need stability, especially in the wake of a divorce.”

Concerns about the frequent relocations were also highlighted, “It’s got to be exhausting for those kids to never be nice & comfortable in a home. Always the threat of having to move… again!”

While many pointed fingers at Spelling for the current state of affairs, others recognized the shared responsibility, writing, “Tori absolutely should give her kids a better diet…but Dean wasn’t there to teach his sons about sports, drive them around to games.

This user spoke of McDermott’s struggle with alcoholism, “Tori at least raised them & was present when they were small (while Dean was out getting hammered).”

Some comments were more critical, reflecting on the perceived behavior of Spelling. A user said, “Being married to her, I understand why he was out getting hammered.”

In agreement, another user added, “Yup you’re right! I absolutely should’ve put Dean in there too. Especially since he seems to be genetically bulky himself. He’s why they have the gene.”

These comments underscore the public’s mixed reactions, blending concern for the children’s well-being with criticisms of both parents’ roles in their upbringing.

The overall consensus emphasizes the need for stability and better care for Spelling and McDermott’s children even as the two are getting divorced.
